  1. Which Smart Money accounts can no longer receive funds?

    • Effective March 1, 2019, Smart Money consumer accounts can no longer receive funds in their e-wallet accounts.
    • Smart Padala Agents are not affected by this change and can still receive funds in their Smart Money account.


  2. Which features will no longer be accessible for consumer accounts?

    • Consumer account holders will no longer be able to receive funds through Smart Money top-up services and P2P transfer features starting March 1, 2019.


  3. Can I still use my Smart Money account for other services?


    Yes, there are three ways to use the remaining funds in your Smart Money account:

    • Transfer your remaining funds to an accredited Smart Padala agent or PayMaya account.
    • Pay your utility bills.
    • Purchase airtime load.
