Mechanics

  1. When can I avail the promo?

    • Promo period is from November 11, 2019 to January 15, 2020.


  2. Who can join?

    • Open to Smart Padala customers, (1) who are registered in the database, (2) who will send or receive remittance at all Smart Padala agents nationwide, (3) who owns a valid passport, and (4) who are permanent residents of the Philippines.

  3. How to join?

    • Two simple steps:
      • Register customer information
      • Send or receive remittance transactions
    • No minimum remittance transaction required.
    • Only transactions made within the promo period will be considered qualified entries.


  4. How to earn raffle entries?

    • Remittance P1000 & below will get double raffle entries:
      • P100 – P1000 : 2 raffle entries
      • P1001 & above : 1 raffle entry


  5. What are the prizes?

    • Total of Six (6) Winners of All-Expense Paid Trip
      • Two (2) Winners of Trip for Four to Korea
      • Two (2) Winners of Trip for Four to Singapore
      • Two (2) Winners of Trip for Four to Taiwan

    • All travel packages good for four (4) pax are inclusive of:
      • Roundtrip economy airfare
      • Accommodations
      • Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
      • Daily allowance
      • Private tours and transfers
      • Admission fees
      • Visa fee and processing fees
      • Travel insurance
      • Tips for tour guides and drivers

    • Prizes are tax-free. Taxes incurred shall be shouldered by PayMaya Philippines, Inc.


  6. When will be the draw dates?

    • Raffle draw will be held on January 30, 2020 at 5PM at the PayMaya Head Office (6th Floor Launchpad Bldg., Sheridan cor Reliance St., Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, 1554) in the presence of a DTI representative.


  7. How many times can a user win?

    • A Smart Padala user can only win once during the promo period.


  8. Are prizes transferable?

    • Prizes are transferable and cannot be converted to cash.

  9. How will the winners be notified?

    • Winners will be notified via registered mail and phone call from a Smart Padala representative.
    • Prize winners with no response to the winning notification letter and call out after 60 business days from receipt of notification will be deemed to have forfeited their right to the relevant prize without compensation, and Smart Padala may then award such prize to another eligible participant drawn from the pool of valid entries with prior DTI approval.
    • Announcement of winning entries and the complete list of winners for all raffle periods shall be posted in Smart Padala’s Facebook page (facebook.com/SmartPadalaPH).
    • All winners will be announced in Smart Padala’s official digital assets including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, with a matching photo and/or video of the winners during their visit.


  10. How do I claim my prize?

    • All winners with upgraded PayMaya accounts must personally submit their ID/proof of identity within 60 days after being notified by a PayMaya representative. Personal appearance at the PayMaya office is a must to claim prizes.
    • All winner must present at least ONE valid primary ID or TWO secondary IDs to claim their prizes. The list of acceptable IDs are:

    • For minors (17 years old and below), aside from preparing your own IDs, you will need to present your parent’s / guardian’s valid IDs (also based on the list of accepted primary and secondary IDs), signed parental consent form, a copy of your birth certificate, and proof of legal guardianship (if applicable).
    • The winners must provide all the necessary documents required for visa application to selected destination to PayMaya’s official travel agency partner within 30 days upon the receipt of the prize.
    • In the event of visa refusal, the winner will be given non-visa tour options in the following destination: Singapore
    • The trip must be completed within 6 months upon receipt of the prize of an all-expense travel package.
    • Failure to comply with any of the requirements or the terms and conditions herein, will have the winners forfeit their winnings with prior approval from the DTI.
    • With prior approval of DTI, PayMaya Philippines reserves the right to declare forfeiture of prize in the event that the winner fails to claim the prize within the allotted time.
    • The winners must agree to be interviewed and featured in announcements to be made by Smart Padala regarding the promo in any of the following channels: website, social media, print and online media.
    • Smart Padala reserves the right to use the names, images, and videos of the winners for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation.
    • After the requirements have been met by the winner, the PayMaya credits will be credited to his PayMaya account within 14 business days. The winner will be notified via SMS as soon as the prize has been credited.
    • PayMaya users who have exceeded their aggregate limits may not receive their prize on time. The prize can only be credited the following month or once a user’s account balance is once again within the allowable limit of P100,000 for upgraded accounts.


  11. Who are not qualified or eligible to join the promo?

    • All employees of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Inc., Smart Communications, Inc., Voyager Innovations Inc., PayMaya Philippines Inc., and its third-party partners, including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
    • Smart Padala reserves the right to refuse the awarding of prizes to customers that are suspected to be invalid or fraudulent or a result of gaming (i.e. abuse of system of weakness in the promo to win prizes or receive benefits).
